Copper Mosque Dome Cladding
A Material System Built Around Detail and Workmanship
Copper offers a strong visual identity and can be formed into radial panels, standing seams and custom details around complex dome geometry. Its colour evolves naturally with exposure, moving from bright copper through darker oxidation tones and eventually toward patinated surfaces depending on environment.
Panel layout is designed around the dome radius and visual rhythm. The cladding system must also account for thermal movement, ventilation, substrate condition and transitions at the drum, skylights, finial base or adjacent roofs.
- Main mosque domes
- Minaret roofs and spires
- Shadirvan domes
- Entrance canopies
Copper Creates a Living Architectural Surface
Copper begins with a bright metallic character and changes naturally as the exposed surface ages. That evolution should be understood as part of the design, especially when a client is comparing the initial appearance with the long-term architectural character they expect for the mosque.
