Heritage & Traditional Wooden Doors
Door Solutions / Heritage
Heritage-style wooden doors should respect architectural character without pretending that every new door is a historical replica. The right approach is to study proportions, panel rhythm, carving language, timber appearance and surrounding architecture, then develop a project-specific door that can actually be fabricated and installed.
Traditional design directions
Osmanisch inspiriert
Panel hierarchy, geometric carving and traditional visual balance adapted to the actual opening.
Seljuk-inspired
Strong geometric language and carved timber detailing developed at a scale suitable for the door.
Islamic geometric
Repeating geometry, calligraphy zones or carved borders coordinated with panel structure.
Restoration-sensitive new work
New doors for historic settings should be based on measured surveys, documented character and project-conservation requirements.
Survey before production
For an existing building, photographs alone are not enough. Measure the real opening, wall depth, threshold, surrounding stone/timber details and any out-of-square conditions before shop drawings are frozen.
