Palace & Luxury Villa Chandelier Design Guide
Palaces and luxury villas often combine double-height foyers, stair voids, salons and formal dining spaces. A custom chandelier should match the architecture, furniture scale and finish palette while remaining serviceable after installation.

Match the chandelier to the architecture
Grand foyer
Review the fixture from entry level, stair landings and upper galleries. The visible top and canopy may matter as much as the underside.
Formal salon
Diameter, drop and decorative density should relate to furniture groupings, ceiling detail and sightlines across the room.
Dining room
A lower, more intimate chandelier can work over a table if glare and service clearances are controlled.
Stair void
Vertical compositions require exact section drawings, drop lengths and maintenance access from the surrounding stairs or lift equipment.
Luxury materials and finishes
Crystal, handcrafted glass, brass, antique brass, bronze, gold-tone, blackened metal and custom paint finishes can all be coordinated with the interior palette. The finish sample should be approved under the project lighting because the same metal tone can appear different under warm and cool light.
- Crystal or decorative glass specification
- Metal finish sample
- Canopy and chain/cable finish
- Smart-home or dimming interface
- CCT and lamp/LED appearance
- Cleaning access and spare components
