    Description

Bishkek Central Mosque, which creates an aesthetic appearance in the area, draws attention to the materials used in its construction and detailed embroidery. The social complex around the mosque was created by adopting a use brought by Ottoman architecture.

Our company, which is an expert in mosque construction, creates an aesthetic and magnificent structures in the field by making mosques in different styles. By choosing our company, you can have mosques that are shaped according to the wishes of the person and mosques that take charge both socially and religiously.

The Complex of Bishkek Central Mosque

Construction for Bishkek Central Mosque started in 2012. Five years later, the mosque and the social complex around it were built in the company of the Turkish Religious Foundation. It is known that the Ottoman architectural style was adopted in the construction of the mosque. In addition, Bishkek Central Mosque is very similar to Kocatepe Mosque built in 1987 in Ankara.

Locally designed mosques in the Bishkek region generally have a single dome and are built with thick minarets. Located in the center of the area, Bishkek Central Mosque includes many small domes and weak minarets around the main dome of the mosque.

The mosque’s dome reaches 37 meters and its minarets with three balconies are 70 meters high. Bishkek Central Mosque, where 9,000 people can worship indoors, is considered as a whole with its indoor areas and garden.

Among the social facilities around the mosque are a conference hall, Quran courses, a fountain, and a parking lot with a capacity of approximately 500 vehicles. In the construction of Bishkek Central Mosque, which was designed by Turkish architects, traditional forms were adhered to and the dome in the upper part was combined with the half domes on the side.

The building, in which marble materials and reinforced concrete were used in its construction, created an eye-catching area with various decorations. It offers a pleasant view around the fountain created in the inner volume, especially with arches and columns.

Architectural Features of Bishkek Central Mosque

Bishkek Central Mosque was built on the basis of Ottoman architectural features. It is similar to Kocatepe Mosque, especially with its striking domes. Designed in the classical period style, the mosque includes domed and side-domed covers, as well as filament support systems that support the ceiling.

The plain and aesthetic appearance brought by marble was preferred in Bishkek Central Mosque. The mosque is structurally similar to the Ottoman mosque architecture, as well as its interior design. In particular, the patterns on the dais, mihrab, and pulpit elements used in the mosque reflect Ottoman architecture in terms of the materials they are made from.

Calligraphy, pencil works, and gold leaf decorations, which are of great importance in the mosque, always have a special place. The traditional decorations, which have a religious meaning with their various patterns and provide the mosque with an aesthetic and magnificent appearance, also provide the environment with various colors.

There are various verses in the middle of the dome, together with these geometric ornaments that form a unity by being embroidered into the dome. The verse or hadith in the middle of the dome can give information about the period when it was built or the person who built the mosque.

It is important that the mosque creates a lively environment as well as has an aesthetic structure. For this reason, the mosque-stained glass made on the domes preferred in Ottoman mosque architecture was also used for the Bishkek Center Mosque. These glasses add color to the environment with their colorful structure and patterns. The rectangular-shaped glasses in the lower wall section, on the other hand, provide the area with a bright and peaceful appearance.

Gold leaf ornaments used on mosque walls and mihrab-like elements can be used for writing various verses as well as being preferred for striking decorations. This type of decoration, which creates a pleasant appearance in buildings, is especially preferred because it is traditional.

Since Bishkek Central Mosque is decorated with various patterns, the carpet model used in the area was chosen to be simpler and more comfortable for the users. Each element used in the design of Bishkek Central Mosque, which has a magnificent structure, has been specially thought of and preferred based on architectural features.

Our company, which has built mosques in different styles in many places, is based on the request of the person. In this way, it is possible to make a larger or smaller scale model of Bishkek Central Mosque. Some features in the mosque or its structure can be changed based on the customer’s request and the area where the mosque will be built.
