HS Codes for Mosque Products: Woodwork, Lighting, Carpet and Architectural Elements
There is no single universal HS code for mosque products. Classification normally depends on what the item is made from, its principal function, how it is supplied and the customs rules applied to the shipment.
Classify by product, not by project name
A mosque shipment can contain architectural woodwork, lighting fixtures, carpet, metal components and decorative elements. These product groups may fall under different tariff headings even when they are supplied together for one mosque project.
Prepare technical descriptions
For classification, prepare a clear commercial description for each product group: material, function, dimensions where relevant, whether it is complete or supplied in parts, and how it will be used. Photos and technical drawings can help a customs specialist understand unusual custom products.
Confirm before shipping
HS classification and national tariff extensions can affect documentation, duties and import procedures. The final code should therefore be confirmed for the actual product and destination with the responsible customs professional rather than copied from an unrelated shipment.
For a MosqueBuild export quotation, send the product list, destination country, quantities and available technical drawings through our project contact page. Our export packing guide covers the physical shipment preparation that follows classification and documentation.
