Mosque Cladding Cost, RFQ & Export Packing Guide

Prepare a useful request for quotation and understand the variables that change wall and column cladding cost, packing and international delivery.

There is no meaningful universal square-metre price

Custom cladding cost changes with material, thickness, panel size, carving density, curved geometry, finish, hardware, substructure and installation scope. A flat veneered wall and a segmented carved column may use similar surface area but require very different workshop time.

Prices also change with how much information is available. A measured project with approved materials can be priced more accurately than a concept image with unknown dimensions.

Build the RFQ around decisions suppliers can price

A useful enquiry includes country, site photographs, drawings or measured dimensions, approximate wall area, number and geometry of columns, preferred material direction, reference images, required finish and target programme.

State clearly whether the scope includes design development, shop drawings, substructure, installation, shipping or only manufactured panels. Ambiguous scope produces quotations that are difficult to compare.

Account for geometry and detailing

CNC cutting time, deep carving, many small pieces, capitals, radius panels, concealed access doors and complex material transitions all increase fabrication effort. Premium finishing can also require several sanding and coating stages.

A design can often be value-engineered without becoming generic by simplifying hidden build-ups, standardizing modules or concentrating expensive ornament in focal zones.

Plan export packing as part of production

Finished panels should be protected against impact, rubbing and moisture during transport. Large pieces may need framed crates, while small numbered parts can be grouped by elevation or column. Labels should match the shop-drawing panel schedule.

Container dimensions, crate weight and site unloading access can influence maximum panel size. These logistics decisions should be made before fabrication rather than after the product is complete.

Project checklist

  • Send country, drawings and photos
  • State wall area and column geometry
  • Define supply and installation boundaries
  • Identify high-detail CNC or curved elements
  • Plan crates by installation zone
  • Match labels to the panel schedule
